Purpose of the meeting
We are pleased to announce the organization of the meeting "International Meeting on Thin Film Interfaces and Composite Crystals". The meeting will be held as a hybrid online / onsite due to the travel restrictions. The onsite meeting will be located at Tsushima campus, Okayama University.
Rapid progress of thin film growth technique on various materials as well as the development of hetero-structure fabrication process realized attractive field for researchers to materialize the new electronic structure along with the magnetic features. The wide variety of techniques often prevents us from converse the ideas, thanks to the rich nature of the study. Here we invite you to join the discussion focused on topics listed below and explore the complex material / physics world.
Topics
Functional oxides (ferroelectric, magnetic, superconducting)
Interface engineering
Misfit layered chalcogenides
Superconducting / ferromagnetic interfaces
Theory & modelling of functional interfaces
Van der Waals heterostructures
Polar interfaces
