Assistant Professor Position in Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Science (RIIS) at Okayama University, Japan
One assistant professor is available in the Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Science (RIIS) at Okayama University. This Institute has recently been established at Okayama University to foster research in the areas of mathematical science, neutrino physics, solid state physics, materials science and chemistry, photosynthesis, and structural biology. RIIS is currently seeking a theoretical physicist (M/F) who can contribute to the research project ‘Quantum Physics for Superconductors’, in particular to an investigation of structure, magnetism and superconductivity in iron chalcogenide superconductors supervised by Prof. Harald O. Jeschke. Scientists applying for this position must be highly motivated and qualified.
The position is full time and the initial term is two years; however, depending on research outcomes, the possibility exists for extension until January 2022.
